Bernice Leekity (Wyaco) Polar Bear Bolo

A stunning example of the fine, raised mosaic inlay of Bernice Leekity (Wyaco) of Zuni, New Mexico. This piece was handcrafted circa 1970 and is in wonderful condition. The bear is made of mother of pearl, jet, coral and turquoise and even the bolo tips are inlaid, as paws. The main bolo measures 2 3/8 by 2 7/8 inches and the tips measure 5/8 by 1 1/4 inches. Signed by the artist. Bennett clip backing. Sterling silver.
