Vintage Large Zuni Eagle Bolo
Product Description

This piece features an intricate eagle design using mother of pearl, coral, turquoise and a brown-black stone, probably jet set in sterling silver. The bolo tips are eagle heads. The bolo has been left on its original cord, as many collectors prefer. The main piece is adjustable, and has been moved in the photo to show the detail of the tips. The piece is scribed with two names, Bernice Leekity (Leekya) and Paul Peykitiwa, and the tribal affiliation Zuni is also scribed on the back. The cord is black and is 20 1/2 inches long, including the tips. The eagle measures 3 1/4 inches from tail to beak, and 3 3/4 tall from wingtip to feet. Circa 1970.
