Vintage Morenci Traditional Style Buckle
Product Description
A large, bright teal piece of natural Morenci turquoise with pyrite matrix is set in a sterling silver buckle with traditional Navajo style feathers and dot designs. Stampwork adorns the edges. The Morenci turquoise measures 1 1/4 by 1 2/3 inches. The buckle measures 3 1/4 by 2 1/6 inches. There is a patina on the sterling silver that many pieces of this age acquire. It has not been rebuffed, as many collectors prefer. Unsigned. There are very thin, surface scratches on the backside of the buckle (not visible when worn). The bale measures 1 1/2 inches.
