Vintage Sterling & Turquoise Tobacco Flask

A rare find! An exquisite example of an elaborately decorated tobacco flask. There are several types of stampwork, a handmade chain, and three turquoise stones set in this piece. The flask meausures 2 3/4 wide by 3 7/8 tall. The chain measures 4 inches long. The top is removable, and the piece is made of a heavy guage silver. The three turquoise pieces appear to be from different mines, and this flask may have been intended for personal use rather than made to sell. It also appears to have been lightly used, including a small dent on one side and a little bit of solder and firescale is visible around the seams. This adds to the character of the piece! Circa 1960s, possibly earlier. Unsigned.
